CGI Federal (CGIF) has an exciting opportunity for a Security Architect in our Emerging Technology Consulting practice. You will be a Cybersecurity Authority (SME) providing security architecture support and interacting with CGI Federal Business Units (BUs) and clients. This support includes, but is not limited to, cybersecurity solutions, business development support, presentation creation and delivery at client engagement meetings, as well as providing technical strategy for solutions, guidance, policy and implementations. You are a highly motivated individual, with a strong IT security background who excels at integrating, operating and deploying security technology and solutions, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. The successful candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise security architectures for clients.
Evaluate information assurance and security standards and procedures.
Develop strategies, strategic plans, roadmaps and technical standards.
Use existing and emerging technologies to craft enterprise security solutions.
Function as a technical specialist for general information assurance-related technical problems and provide basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
Recommend information assurance/security solutions to support customers' requirements.
Establish and satisfy information assurance security requirements based upon the analysis and working knowledge of security models and methods for integrating security for the solution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree and 15- years of related experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Extensive experience in design and development of enterprise security architectures. Experience must include a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
Excellent knowledge and experience in security architecture design, enterprise architecture (FEA, DoDAF, TOGAF).
Ability to analyze and research sophisticated problems, and processes relating to the subject matter
Experience providing technical and strategic advice to senior federal agency leadership, from strategy to implementation.
Very experienced in using professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Able to interpret business issues and recommend ideal security architectures.
Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Desired Skills:
Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is desired.
Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired.
ITIL V3 Foundation is desired.
Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as FISMA NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.
Previous experience developing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies for government clients.
Previous experience developing architectures, strategies, strategic plans, roadmaps and technical standards for the federal IT enterprise environment.
Previous experience interfacing and presenting to C-level government officials (ie CIO, CISO).
