Employee will interface with Database Administrators (DBAs)/Developers, Application Administrators, Security analysts, Architecture staff, and end-user community.College-level communications skills, being able to communicate clearly, both orally and with written communications.
Required Education / Certifications:
A bachelors degree from an accredited university in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, or information systems). 3-5 years of experience to include enterprise systems administration or systems engineering of COTS products from multiple vendors in a primarily UNIX-based environment.Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux required. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or newer operating systems preferred.Experience with cloud service provider authentication and authorization services and tools.Experience coordinating changes and troubleshooting incidents with all tiers of cloud service provider helpdesk and technical staff. Experience with AWS GovCloud, traditional Defense Information Services Agency (DISA), or other DoD cloud providers preferred.Experience with the installation, configuration, and support of enterprise configuration management tools such as Micro Focus Solutions Business Manager (SBM), PVCS, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/Quality Center (QC).Experience working with Oracle databases.Ability to review AWS GovCloud service offerings, analyze existing business and technical requirements, and deliver written recommendations for program leadership to present to government customer.Hands-on implementation of approved replacement products or collaboration and oversight of functional migration to third-party hosted services such as ServiceNow and Git or to cloud-native CI/CD pipelines such as AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy.Migration of existing hosted products from legacy systems as required.
Under supervision of program Enterprise Architect:
Analyze AWS GovCloud offerings for SDLC configuration management activities to include code repository, change management application, and automated test suite repository.Identify compatibility and requirement issues for product migrations. Work with vendor, hosting provider, and internal program staff to propose, plan, implement, and validate solutions using the program-approved change control process.Install, configure, and support program SDLC configuration management products SBM, PVCS, and ALM/QC on Windows virtual servers in AWS GovCloud.Execute assigned tasks within guidelines of program procedures and policies including scope and schedule constraints to prevent production operations impact.
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 103,200 to 137,600. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
