About the role:
The 'Special Projects' team is Quick Release's in-house software development centre-of-excellence, producing tools directly for clients, as well as tools to support the work of our analysts and consultants. The team primarily consists of full-stack developers located across UK & US, and now we are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and motivated Python Software Developer to join the team.

The role is home-based for the foreseeable future, with flexible working arrangements and remote working options for the long-term. Candidate MUST be located in the UK or Michigan to allow attendance of monthly team workshops.

The selection process for this role will focus on technical aptitude as well as your transferrable experience as a Python developer. We offer the following requirements as a guide:
You have 2+ years of professional experience working in Python You can demonstrate a track record of designing and developing impactful products You have knowledge of the latest web development tools and techniques You write clean code, test thoroughly, and care about the people who use the things you create, taking pride in your work You can effectively translate requirements to features and understand how those features should be developed You understand Agile practices (preferably scrum) and git version control techniques You hold a bachelor's degree or higher-level accreditation in Computer Science (or another STEM subject) An extra dose of awesome if:
