Senior GIS Programmer Analyst

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Senior GIS Programmer Analyst to support our contract at the EPA in Boston, MA.

The Senior GIS Programmer Analyst provides geospatial web application development and geospatial analysis. This position develops and maintains geospatial web applications and GIS tools using JavaScript API, SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, and in our customers GeoPlatform instance of ArcGIS Online. These applications use ArcGIS Server to incorporate desktop and web maps, and external web map services, into a variety of applications like ESRI web maps and story maps. This position also supports field data collection utilizing ESRIs Survey123 and ArcGIS Collector.

The Senior GIS Programmer Analyst will also be involved in geospatial analysis. A strong background in GIS using ESRI ArcMap or Pro tools, such as Spatial Analyst, for all geospatial data formats is desired. The Senior GIS Programmer Analyst develops and maintains geospatial data that is either project/task specific or is a regularly available dataset in our Oracle database. Familiarity in database management is critical to the ongoing efforts to provide relevant data for our users, so the Senior GIS Analyst Programmer should be knowledgeable on databases, schemas, and domains.

Responsibilities Overview:

Maintain and produce geospatial web applications and GIS tools using ArcGIS JavaScript API

Provide and support web applications using and SQL

Produce and administrate ArcGIS web services through ArcGIS Server

Provide high quality geospatial analysis using ESRI ArcGIS platforms including ArcMap and Pro

Support mobile geospatial applications using Survey123 and ArcGIS Collector

Develop and attribute data as necessary, storing data in regional Oracle spatial database

Aid in developing data management plans and maintain SOPs through the geospatial data lifecycle

Support field work by extracting and processing data sets collected on GPS devices

Provide training and guidance to non-technical GIS users on geospatial applications and concepts
