In the last few years we have seen the release of a huge number of cool gadgets and technology from a wide range of different companies and sectors within the industry. Every couple of weeks there seems to be a new gadget, smartphone, tablet or television launched by one of the large technology manufacturers and 2013 will probably be no different. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year there was a lot of new and improved and innovative gadgets on display. However what we did see from the CES this year is that the trend of the last couple of years is set to continue. The smartphone, tablet & datacard market will be as competitive as last year and the gaming and television industry are going to see many more new product developments and releases.

Here are three gadgets for us to look forward to in the coming year:

Samsung S9 4K TV

Samsung launched their new ultra-high definition television at this year’s CES. The Samsung S9 has a huge 85 inch LED screen, with a resolution of 8 million pixels, and is currently the largest 4K television available. The screen itself sits in a ‘Timeless Gallery Frame’ which makes it very unique looking. The S9 has the ability to deliver “deep, real blacks” and “pure vivacious whites" with its Precision Black Pro Technology which will create a lifelike picture quality. This is definitely going to be a television for the enthusiast and not a likely purchase for the average television shopper.

Huawei Ascend Mate

The Huawei Ascend Mate is a smartphone with a 6.1 inch screen which makes it the largest smartphone available at the moment. This is larger than Samsung’s Galaxy Note which has a screen size of 5.5 inches and considerably larger than Apple’s iPhone 5 which has a 4 inch screen. It is nicely designed with a rear and front camera and it runs on Android JellyBean 4.1. This product is definitely not going to be to everybody’s taste because at its size it is very big as a phone and maybe a bit small for a tablet.

Charge Card

This is a product that is going to prove to be very popular amongst Apple users, particularly with batteries been easily emptied these days by a lot of use and activity. The card folds out in the middle with one end plugging into your iPhone and the other end plugging into your USB socket. It is essentially a charger with no wires which can be easily carried around in your wallet. The Charge Card is currently only available with an Apple connection but the manufacturers are planning to release both Android and Blackberry versions.
