Course Description
Learn how to create a fully-functioning, trendy website in Adobe Muse CC. This course walks you through the whole process from planning to publishing. You will be able to follow along using the exercise files provided and pick up all the necessary techniques you will need to work on your own website projects and get confident in working with Muse. This tool is a great addition to any creatives’ skill-set, opening up a whole new world of possibilities, clients and projects.
In this course you will first establish the design of our website. In this phase we will be learning about the following important steps:
- Planning your website
- Designing everything in Muse
- Adding interactivity (links and buttons)
At this point we will already have a working website but we will continue to explore the capabilities of Adobe Muse and improve our website with the following features:
- Making the site responsive for it to look good on all screen sizes
- Learning about parallax effects in Muse
- Finalising and publishing the site.
To make the most of this course your task is to work on your own website project. You will need to pick a subject, which could be anything from a friend’s portfolio site to an actual client’s small business website or even just a fan-page for the last movie you saw in the cinema.
Once you have your subject you should start following the steps of my process by watching the videos in this course and apply the necessary techniques to your own project. You will need Adobe Muse CC to complete this task, but luckily you can get a 30-day free trial version downloaded from Adobe's Creative Cloud website. For those who are already CC users, you just need to install Muse from the CC desktop manager.
Don’t forget to also submit your finished work to the Muse Site of the Day to get your work out there and find potential clients.
