Course Description
Moving data center assets to Azure can be a challenging task. You need to investigate migrating servers and creating a DR model, as well as monitoring and managing your new extended cloud-based data center. In this course, Azure Site Recovery: IaaS Migration and Disaster Recovery, you'll learn how to do all that and more. First, you'll learn about virtual datacenter planning, including topics like planning cloud-based data center IP subnets, extending an on-premises network into Azure, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) pre-requisites and limitations. Next, you'll learn to use ASR as a DR and migration tool, replication mechanism, failover simulation, and more. Finally you'll learn to monitor and backup Virtual Machines using Azure backup and Azure OMS. By the end of this course, you'll have a solid foundation of the technologies required to extend your data center into the cloud, and manage it once it gets there.
