Creating a Wind Blown Leaves Simulation Using nCloth in Maya

Pluralsight
Course Summary
Throughout these lessons, we will learn a non-traditional workflow using nCloth in Maya to simulate wind blown leaves in an alley. The methods using nCloth will help to keep your simulations close to real-time. Software required Maya 2013.

Course Description
Throughout these lessons, we will learn a non-traditional workflow using nCloth in Maya to simulate wind blown leaves in an alley. The methods using nCloth will help to keep your simulations close to real-time. We will use low resolution geometry to drive high resolution geometry to create the desired effect. We will also use fields to effect movement as well as export cache and learn how to re-purpose that cache to quickly get the result we are looking for. Software required Maya 2013.
