Course Description
To get started with this course, we will take a moment to answer some commonly asked questions and gain a better understanding of exactly what graphic design is. From here, we'll take a moment to learn about the design process. A valuable tool that can be implemented on any graphic design related project. Next, we will dive into image based design, type based design, layout design and logo design. We will learn what each one is and how it is different from the others. We will also work on a mini-project for each one of these topics that will get your feet wet and allow you experience each type of project. After completing this course, not only will you have a better understanding of what graphic design is, but you will also have an opportunity to work on a variety of small graphic design projects. Software required: Photoshop CS6, InDesign CS6, Illustrator CS6.
