Sonya's interest in Digital Media and Public Relations began almost ten years ago when she worked in Broadcast Journalism. While enrolled in the the Broadcast Journalism diploma program at Seneca College, Sonya was hired by CBC as an intern. Eventually, she transitioned into television and radio as a host and editor, working with stations such as The Weather Network, ATN, and BBC/Worldband Media in Toronto, as well as Sahara One Television. After almost seven years in the industry, Sonya began her former company, Youzus, as a blog where influencers could connect with brands and two years later turned it into a full time Digital Marketing and PR agency. Three years later it was purchased by Cummins & Partners.
