As it is with any Android mobile or tablet, the performance will start to decreasing after using it for some time. In order to keep them running without any hindrance, it is important to keep the devices optimized.

Optimizing an Android device doesn’t mean upgrading its performance by providing additional hardware, but taking benefits of existing applications and customizing the practice of using Android devices in order to run them effectively and efficiently.

At some point, Android devices will run optimally without the need of too much user roles. Android OS has successfully established its own market and shifted other operating systems. Being a user of Android devices, one should know the condition of the device which they are using it, including the data plans, battery usage, download speed, etc. According to some Android consultants, the optimization process is all about observing the weaknesses that happen and return to the original state.

Below are some of the tips to be considered for the optimization of Android devices:

  • Effective Usage Of Pulse :-

Service providers generally issue various packages on the basis of a monthly, weekly or daily usage of data according to the user’s needs. Users should choose a package that suits their needs. This is the initial step and one of the important step of optimization.

  • Managing and Monitoring Android Device :-

There are several applications available for free in Play Store with All-in-One toolbox, which can help users to monitor and optimize Android devices such as task killer, battery usage information, system cleaner, application locker, and so on. Users just need to register for free and provide the access of Gmail account.

  • Usage of Battery :-

To optimize the usage of battery, users can try the underclock feature which is directly accessible from the menu of various Android devices. This feature helps in reducing the speed of the processor, as users don’t always need the speed provided by the device. This is a solution to save the battery usage without reducing the usage of Android device. Some of the battery optimizing features also serve to control the activation of Wifi or packet data and background apps which are not required. In the case of the battery running low, this feature shuts down all connectivity that is not in use, which helps in increasing the effectiveness of the battery.

  • Cleaning up Trash :-

History and cache that is not needed are wasting the memory of Android devices. To control this problem, cleaner applications can be used that can clear unwanted history and cache at a defined time of interval. Other than improving the performance of Android devices, clearing trash also makes the life of the battery longer and performance of the device better.

According to the user preference, trash cleaner applications can be downloaded from the Play Store. Below are some examples of such applications:

Clean Master :-

This app is used to clear the trash history, tasks, and residual files. This app has some additional features like managing apps in a way that it can backup and uninstall, control privacy and cache contained in the history. The cache includes files from various apps stored to support the procedure of making the execution faster. Privacy contains the outlines of SMS, MMS, search, and internet browsing.

Dumpster :-

This app is used to delete unwanted files that are of no use, but these files can be restored once needed. This app is not only just for backing up of files that are removed manually but also for the backup of the cache files that are removed occasionally by other apps. If the users are using this application, they must avoid using the defaults as suggested by Android consultants, as it will store all the garbage dumped by other apps.

Other than the above, these are much cleaner applications that can be downloaded from the Play store, such as Cache cleaner and Tap cleaner.

  • Rooting of Android Device :-

As built on the Linux kernel, Android can also be rooted like many other operating systems. Rooting the Android device give admin access to the users on their smartphone or tablet, which means that they can uninstall the applications that are in their device but may not be what they want to use. They can then flash it with custom ROMs that may be the best fit to their job requirements or to enhance the performance of their device. Updating the device to the latest operating system could be a better option too.

When Not to Root

There are various factors that are against rooting an Android device; for one thing, most manufacturers consider the device warranty invalid if it has been rooted. Users also need to know what they are doing to avoid such problems.

Conclusion :-

By optimizing the Android device, users will not only enhance the performance of their smartphones and tablets, but they can constantly monitor it. According to Android consultants, if the users follow the above-given suggestions, this will help in making their Android devices smoother and faster while in use.
