People tend to pass long forms by. They may just want to subscribe to your webinar or newsletter. Asking a bunch of questions right away is just going to make them feel like dollar signs not people. In the beginning gathering basic information like name and email address is all you need as you build a relationship through your content. Buy ads on your social networks. Create a separate basic landing page for each one to avoid distraction. Have a simple direct call to action on the landing page telling the landing page visitor what to do to obtain what you advertised. Try different ads targeted to different types of groups.
