Until recently, SEO refered only to web search. With the growing popularity of smartphones and tablets adaptation of sites for mobile search results was done. But recently in the search engines on mobile devices in the organic issue began to appear also mobile applications.

At the conference SMX West 2015 Justin Briggs, founder of SEO-agency Briggsby, presented a detailed report about the future of SEO. The report said that in the algorithms of search results on mobile devices, search engines use not only the data based on the analysis of user behavior on the web, but also on how they interact with mobile applications. Today Google and the mobile search service Now On Tap (we'll talk about it below) take into account the data of the applications received for the formation of issue.

In turn, the company's research Criteo suggest that online retail services and the tourism industry is higher than the conversion to mobile applications, but not with mobile versions of sites that talks about the importance of mobile applications for business.

But here it is worth noting that the conversion component of the mobile application is important only if you can find it and therefore be installed on the mobile. In the opposite case the value of the conversion will not matter. And then the question arises of how to promote their application.

On February 2015, on Google Play have been registered 1.4 million active applications. And the more they become, the lower the chance that users will find and will choose you.

There are many ways to promote applications: advertising, optimization of algorithms for the App Store and the promotion of the application through its own website. But now, when Google began to show the application in the organic issue, there is a need for them in the application of the "classical-» SEO.
