Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete Granite projects professionally and conform to industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with the SCS team members local and remote
  • Install, test and troubleshoot Cat5, Cat6, Fiber, CCTV, Wireless Access Points, Access Control
  • Maintain project documentation and provide concise project status updates
  • Maintain site inventory and order additional material in a timely manner through a Granite Project Manager in order to keep project moving forward.
  • Interact with local customer contacts and General Contractors
  • Provide details of Change Order requests; (Scope and Bill of Material)
Required Qualifications:
  • Low Voltage License if applicable
  • 5-10 years cabling/fiber experience
  • Industry references
  • Basic networking skills
  • Able to read prints and provide marked up As-builds
  • Operate and maintain Level 3 test equipment
  • Able to terminate and trouble shoot copper and fiber optic cabling
  • OSHA 10 Certified
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BICSI Installer Certification
  • Any manufacture certification s Commscope, Hubbell, Ortronics, Corning preferred
  • Experience with OTDR/Power Meter testers
  • A+ networking certification
  • Fiber termination/splicing ability
  • Experience with CCTV/Access Control Systems Hanwha/Samsung & RBH preferred
  • Experience with A/V systems installation
  • Electrical Apprentice/Journeymen license
  • Outside Plant Construction
