Trade Floor IT Helpdesk Support – Top Investment Bank [Description] Responsibilities: – Provide helpdesk and desk side IT support, both software and hardware, to a diverse and multicultural user base on the trading floor. – Take responsibility for call resolution, track and see-through to resolution. – Maintain close communication with team lead and senior management across major incidents and reporting. – Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and customer service mindset. This is a highly interactive role with end-users. – Work with external technology providers like Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg etc. – Participate in and manage Desktop deployment projects.
Requirements: – At least 2 years of experience in a hands-on IT helpdesk support role: • Windows desktop, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel-Add-in • Active Directory & Email (Exchange) administration: access and permissions • Market Data and Trading Applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, EBS, BRAX, Etrali • Additional expertise supporting mobile devices (laptops, Blackberry, smartphones), network administration, firewall and Citrix a definite advantage • Experience in Cisco IP phones, IPC / BT / Etrali Dealerboards
– Experience in a user-facing role highly desired: end-user training, advice, and guidance. – University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline. – Experience with Front office support is preferred. – Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
