Our client based in Manchester is opening a brand-new division to their current organisation, they are therefore looking for a .NET Development Manager / Lead Developer to grow and manage the team.
You will also initially be very hands-on working on Greenfield projects.
Technologies include, but are not limited to C#, asp.net and SQL using a variety of design patterns and software development techniques including domain-driven design, MVC, unit and test-driven development.
There is also a significant focus on continuous delivery and deployment using the latest technologies.
The systems that are developed are large scale and are required to be an industrial strength so that we can meet both regulatory and our own high-quality standards.
There are also several interactions with 3rd parties utilising a variety of integration techniques including web services and MSMQ / MQ technologies.
Responsibilities: , Commercial awareness and cost/benefit analysis of proposed solutions. , Proactively drives the business forward by working with the other stakeholders to understand and contribute to the overall business strategy and how technology can enable and help deliver this. , Work closely with architects; core team and other pillars to share business and technical knowledge. , Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team and the director of IT to plan the technical roadmap for their pillar. , Acts as a domain owner to review and approve PBIs and the technical analysis. , Manage changing or conflicting priorities. , Works closely with the team, business and liaises with third parties to ensure projects are planned, designed and delivered. , Lead a delivery team responsible for project delivery and application group. , Contribute to the estimation and implementation of user stories/requirements helping to shape their technical design, UX and implementation.
