Job Responsibilities Include: Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. Proven track record working on products from inception to delivery. Responsible for functional testing, end-to-end planning, reporting and drafting test cases/test plans. Analyzing and documenting test results. Be able to troubleshoot issues found in testing. Be able to develop functional, performance, load and stress test automation. Liaising with developers on code development and issue tracking. Maintain test lab networks and server configurations. Maintain hardware/software test environments (including virtualized environments). Ability to communicate clearly with QA and other departments to provide regular statistics on QA tasks. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Perform tool evaluations, participate in creation of standards and guidelines along with other QA team members. Must have excellent communications skills. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must have complex problem solving skills. Must have strong organizational/time management skills.
Required Skills and Skill Level: Knowledge of scripting/coding languages (C++, C#, Python) Experience with VMWare, VirtualBox, etc. Experience with network routers, switches and firewalls Experience working within automated testing environments Experience with Application Lifecycle Management systems (i.e. Rally, TFS, JIRA) Knowledge of Linux Systems, MS Windows Knowledge of continuous integration systems (e.g. Hudson, Jenkins) Knowledge of source control systems, preferably with GIT Knowledge of other source control systems (Mercurial, SVN) would also work
