[Description] Job Summary
The Commercial Manager will lead and handle the strategic directions for a reputable brand of sports watches, dive computers, compasses and precision instruments. The winning candidate will be the primary manager of the brand for the Asia-Pacific and will manages commercial operations, including planning. is the successful applicant will handle the implementation of the who, what and how local plan. The Commercial Manager is responsible for consumer right product offers in his/her marketplace, which brings the brands vision to life at retail (right product, right price, right place and right time).

Key job responsibilities include:
Manage and Develop the Market
• Create the midterm vision (3 years) for the Brand/Category.
• Sets strategy & plans to achieve target market share, Sales & Gross Margin in the market.
• Acts as an owner in the achievement of the commercial plan by ensuring that required offering & capabilities are in place.
• Collects and synthesizes local consumer & market trends to be provided to the global or regional brand organization.
• Understand and know the competitive landscape, provide feedback to global or regional brand organization. Use competitive intelligence to build compelling selling arguments.
• Build country revenue plans in close collaboration with the Business Development Managers and E-Tail Manager for the individual markets where present.
• Lead Sales Team to implement the commercial plan, train and follow up on key initiatives and products (build sales targets and KPIs) and take part in key meetings with customer to support the plan, Build plan, culture to hit and beat the targets
• Define assortments per channel and key accounts to differentiate the market place.
• Define and implement local brand marketing plans in accordance with overall brand strategy.
• Perform GTM meetings to educate sales teams, distributors and their respective product teams about strategy, seasonal initiatives and product offers.
• Work closely with the key account buyer to ensure the implementation of the strategically agreed account strategies and revenue targets.

Key job requirements:
• Degree, Master’s preferred, in business or relevant field
• At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in product sales/marketing in the consumer electronics digital industry with profound knowledge of products
• Professional background in Global MNC or FMCG with regional experience
• Has successfully managed within an matrix organisation
• Personality: Aggressive, mature, confident, honest, and with the ability to work under pressure and independently and have a passion for sport
• Leadership & Communication: Lead the brand into the local organization to implement the plan and work closely with Brand HQ to build the local commercial plan and give feed-back.
• Planning & Preparation: Develops detailed plans for growth in local market, including expansion in category door distribution. Prepares range and marketing programs to enable SAMs and field force to achieve local market objectives
• Management & Coordination: Ensures consistent practices & processes across Company’s China OD brands & business. Coaches & supports other brands’ Commercial Leaders
• Accountability for Results: Results oriented for overall Company’s OD target achievements with high accountability.
• Analytical skills & Problem Solving: Able to synthesize multiple market signals to identify drivers and barriers to retail purchase. Develops compelling programs to enable product range to succeed in the local environment
• Listening skills & solution selling: Carefully addresses key market trends through product range and programs made available from global and regional brand organization. Develops compelling ranges for key distribution channels and strategic accounts
• Presenting: Is an articulate & effective in presenting the product and brand to the field force and key customers
• Business acumen: Combines strategic & financial analysis to identify business opportunities. Develops plans to enable brand or category to balance short- and long-term objectives
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft office software (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
