Description

Release Manager urgently required on a 6mths + contract based in West London. Working in the quality and releasing team, you will be part of a cross-functional department that includes front-end and back-end software engineers and system release managers. The role will involve a range of day-to-day responsibilities. Primarily this includes the efficient releasing of our system onto our test platforms, follow-up of releasing and test-system stability problems, plus occasional Quality Assurance tasks too.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Release Manager, Proven Project planning/tracking skills, preferably cross-site.

Knowledge and experience with running Linux scripts to trigger releasing jobs, or triggering (but not administering) Jenkins jobs would be useful but not essential.

Test system management and test system data management.

QA activities - manual testing, bug tracking, test automation would be a bonus

Version control systems like Mercurial or Git.

Atlassian products: Confluence, BitBucket
