Formulate sales strategy and set direction for the sales team. Work closely with Sales team to drive sales and business opportunities for the respective regions. Keeps abreast of the market dynamics and makes quick decisions or take remedial actions to the changing market demand or competitors' activities. Conduct market research and provide sales team with relevant data to assist in their sales Evaluate and adjust selling rates according to market demand and space situation. Service and engage agents and shippers on all aspects of sales matters and to find out their changing business requirements and to strengthen business relationship. Organize sales activities, seminars, destination launches and workshops for agents, shippers and staff to develop new sales traffic. Engage direct shippers to understand their logistic requirements and pursue potential new business/ forward focus. Provide recommendation for any requests/ appeals from agents for performance-based incentives and certify accounting adjustments for incentive claims. Oversee a team of sales AEs, sales support and admin officers in all sales related matters and other administrations duties (eg: leave approvals, coverage duties, etc) Promote the use of IT platforms (e.g. Sales Force Mobility, eDMS, mobile email, etc) that are endorsed by Head Office.
Degree in any discipline with minimum 4 years of sales and account management experience. Good to have knowledge of air cargo operations and good marketing knowledge and understanding of the local cargo market, supply chain management and logistics. Driven, customer focused and has good business acumen. Good communication and negotiation skills; as well as analytical skills
