The Enterprise IT Solutions Architecture department caters to IT/IS needs of vertical business units in Vodafone Group Enterprise that include Vodafone Global Enterprise, Vodafone Carrier Services, Machine-to-Machine / Internet of Things, and Cloud & Hosting Services, each with their own portfolio of products and services, and relevant business functions in Group Technology. The function also builds re-usable assets that cater to the IT/IS needs of Enterprise Business Units in a number of Vodafone Local Markets.


The Red EdgeSales department is a dedicated Enterprise sales organisation with400 agents based in Dublin, Valencia and Budapest targeting high value deals and customer acquisition.


To support keystrategic growth areas, Enterprise IT require a capable and experienced IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTSalesforce to support the definition ofthe vision and the roadmap strategy for Vodafone Red Edge capabilities and is responsible for leading the solution definition & delivery in conjunction with the business.


Therole covers the requirements analysis, the business casedefinition, the solution architecture with the domain & architecture leads,the vendor & SI selection, the management of the solution design, the overlooking of the build with the domains, the solution acceptance, the stabilisation in production and the control of benefits realisation with the business according to defined KPIs.

Within his/her key accountability, the BusinessSolutions Designer will interact with the business, finance, Supply chain, the domain leads, the test managers and the infrastructure & operation teams todefine and deliver the committed roadmap to support Enterprise growth.

Act as IT representative towards business and business representative towards IT for all Enterprise IT Red Edge processes and IT systems.


Lead effort to identify and analyze business driversto derive business, information, technical, and solution requirements and to analyse IT industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon Enterprise.


Develop overall architecture approach for all layers of a solution. (Conceptualand logical architecture specifications).


Support business case definition with business and finance.


Lead vendor and SI selection with VPC, domain leads, architecture, operations, and finance.


Customers, suppliers andthird parties:


Ensure that solutions implemented meet business objectives and leverage onbest practice.


Working collaboratively with central and local Technology stakeholdersto ensure that the right technology infrastructure are in place to support thecentral and local delivery and operations


Leadership and Team Work:


Leads and manages a virtual team of c10 consultants to shape, set up and support the Enterprise solutions required to deliver and operate the Red Edge Sales initiative.


Sets clear objectives and deliverables and manages individual performance through PD and acts as a role model.


Provide leadership and technical guidance to technical architects.


Innovation and Change:


Drive innovationagenda in IT Domain process and systems together with SW providers, Business and Sis.


Maximise the usage of technology in orderto simplify systems and processes and ultimately drive efficiency in Enterprise to enable business growth.


Serve as an architecture conduit for external requests and queries, and provide education onenterprise architecture directions and goals.


Manage demand pipe and build Enterprise roadmap with the business for IT Domain processes


Communication:


Act as IT representative towards business and business representative towards IT


Provide solution direction and guidance to other project architects and technical staff.


Interactwith, plan and monitor technical departments effort to implement successful delivery of the solutions.


Develops andmaintains relationship with Group and Local OpCo technology leads, while ensuring that team members remain the primary point of contact for day-to-day matters.


Builds and maintains relationshipswith external vendors and partners.

Essential:


Demonstrable and recent track record of architecting and delivering Enterprise Sales capabilities using Salesforce.com andForce.com AppExchange capabilities such as; CTI, Gamification applications, Data.com, Multichannel CampaignManagement applications, BI applications; in a large telecommunications IT environment


Strong communication, engagement, influencing and decision-making skillsable to deliver in a matrix environment and balance conflicting interests


Sound overall knowledge of application capabilities, integration, data design methodologies and industry best practices


Capability to articulate and define complex architectures in a simple way to stakeholders underpinned by a structuredanalytical approach and high quality architectural artefacts and deliverables.


Ability to translate Business Strategy and needs into IT Architecture blueprints formarkets; estimate the financial impact of architectural alternatives. Ability to balance short term vs. strategic solutions to cater to conflicting demands.


Desired:


Working knowledge and/or experience of delivering solutions architectures and designs for Enterprise Business Units in telco environments


Salesforce.com Certification (Developer / Consultant / Architect)


Working / demonstrable knowledge of Force.com AppExchange capabilities such as New Voice Media, SuMo, Datahug and capabilitiescritical to the E2E solution architecture such Data.com, ELoqua and Qlik Reporting


Working knowledge of TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture framework), TM Forum Frameworx (industry specific Process, Application, and Information frameworks), and UML (modelling standard)


Experience with E2E modelling tools such as Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect or IBM Rationale System/Software Architect)


Experience with managingthird parties required to participate in the definition of architectures, ensuring continuity of design with all internal aspects


Excellent communication (both written and spoken), negotiation and presentation skills


Persists when faced with resistance and convinces other colleagues of a point of view. Anticipates objections,builds on other peoples ideas, and improves service standards
