Job Description: This Lead/Principal level BA role will facilitate the definition of business and system requirements for various efforts within the TBM Tools team. This large-scale multi-year initiative includes product delivery and sustainment of the Clarity PPM tool that support multiple enterprise Lines of Business. The BA will be Embedded in a dedicated agile delivery team where they will develop new business processes, user stories, acceptance criteria as well as technical level requirements for multiple integration partners and vendors in conjunction with business partners. This includes working with them to define the user stories resulting in a clearer, more detailed and more complete understanding of project deliverables. They will help orchestrate backlog refinement, creating epics, and user stories (technical, functional, and reporting). Guide multiple development teams and business teams to break down large and complex user stories into simplified versions for execution. In addition, this role will assist design, documentation and maintenance of system processes. Define, create documentation for new business processes. Follow/track and report on defects, identify and/or remove impediments. Communicate key insights and findings to project team. This role will also collaborate with multiple BAs and other technology teams at ranging from transportation systems, labor systems, content repository, and engineering teams. Minimum Required: Minimum of 8 to 10 years-experience in Business/Systems Analysis. Tools: Proficiency with Clarity PPM (eg multiple capabilities beyond basic time-enterer.) Prior experience leading/coordinating requirements across multiple BAs on an team. Proven experience working in an Agile environment including SCRUM and KANBAN (eg story mapping, story sizing, working in two week iterations or pull/push). Knowledge of software testing procedures with the ability to validate and ensure traceability from requirements gathering through acceptance criteria. Proven experience in eliciting business and technical requirements, and acceptance criteria for large technology implementations, programs and projects with multiple technology partners/teams and varying methodologies. Very strong business analysis skills with proven experience collaborating with business partners and documenting business processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing. Proven experience leading requirements gathering for projects with a large number of technology and business stakeholders. Proven experience documenting business processes, business rules and system diagrams. Highly visible role with frequent executive engagement. Must be a true team player and fit well within Client s culture. A true self-starter that can hit the ground running with little daily supervision. Ability to navigate in a heavily matrixed organization. Strong collaboration skills and able to solicit requirements from multiple business stakeholders with various drivers. In-depth knowledge and practical experience translating business process into use cases, process maps, data flows, and diagrams. Strong interpersonal skills including coaching, collaborating, and communication. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of trust and confidence with internal and external project team members, stakeholders, and executive sponsors. Supports product owner in maintaining product roadmap. Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with technical and non-technical resources including executives and vendors. Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining view of the big picture. Works effectively as part of a team or individually. High level of personal drive and ability to motivate team. Thrives working in a fast-past environment with constantly changing priorities. High-energy and fast-learner that is flexible and able to manage requirements across multiple releases and teams. Required Education, Certification and Tools: Education: Bachelor s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field; 6 years additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree Tools: Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc. Tools: Proficiency with Enterprise Agile tools (eg VersionOne or Jira) Nice to Have (Preferred) Prior Product Owner experience and certifications is preferred. Experience in supporting travel trade, hospitality, and/or large scale businesses and time entry systems. Tools: Proficiency with Cardboard or other story mapping tools.
