We strive to fulfill this mission by following our Core Values of Safety, Individual Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Growth and Commitment.Come and surround yourself with talented and professional individuals who have also taken the next step of making a difference in someone's life.You would not only have a great and dedicated team to work with, but you may also be eligible to take advantage of a comprehensive benefits plan which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), legal, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.ResponsibilitiesTheMaterial Handling Distributions & Operations Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject areas: Safety, Warehousing, Stock Keeping, Inventory, Overview of the Supply Chain, Equipment ( Pallet Jack, Conveyor Belts, Banding Tools etc.), Loading, USPS Zip Code System, Customer Service, Quality Control, Audits, Warehouse Technology, Packaging + Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to ensure maximum student motivation+ Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to ensure maximum learning and productivity+ Assist students with resume development, job search strategies, and utilizes Labor Market Information (LMI) and other resources to develop placement support efforts tailored to meet the needs and qualifications of each individual student+ Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport+ Utilizes all possible curriculum resources available and formulates Contextualized Learning Lesson Plans tailored towards the applicable industry+ Actively participates in Industry Advisory Council and strengthens employer collaborative partnerships+ Responsible for the maintenance of student personnel folders and related documentationQualificationsMinimum: State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization. No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area.
