Description
Good experience on UCS Rack mounts (Standalone & integrated with UCSM) managing & FW upgrades.
Experience using VMware virtualization specifically on a UCS platform or other converged architecture
Experience on configuring the FI, vNIC & vHBA etc.
Experience on Disjoint Layer 2 network technologies & its design in UCSM.
Experience on configuring, Managing & troubleshooting the Boot from SAN.
Perform zoning on Fibber Channel switches & troubleshooting on switch such as Brocade/Cisco/Mcdata.
Good Understand on UCS components (2nd & 3rd generation) configuration on Design & best practice
Basic knowledge on network/Storage & End to End architecture with UCSM.
General provisioning, build, patching, decommissioning process knowledge.
Hands on experience on UCS servers and VMware Monitoring the alerts through V-Centre/ UCS Manager console Providing Level 2/3 support for UCS Servers and VMware Raising TAC with Cisco/EMC/VM ware
Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center.
Strong hands on command line of ESX.
Strong hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
Strong understanding of HA and DRS environment.
Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines
Migration of virtual machines from ESX 5.5 to ESX 6.x.
Installing patches and software upgrades recommended by security scan.
Expertise in thin provisioning, VMFS expansion, RAID technologies.
VMware tool up-gradation at host VM level.
Upgraded VMs hardware components according vSphere requirement.
Strong knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of MS Clustering.
Should have knowledge on Blade Server.
Should have hand on experience on firmware, driver & RCM upgradation.
Should have knowledge on Operating system and hardware troubleshooting.
Should have good knowledge on BSOD, PSOD and bug check error
Should have good knowledge on storage components like VNX, VNXe, XtremIO
Should have good knowledge of vBlock supporting tool like VISION, VIPR, Recovery Point
Strong communication skills.
Good motivational skills.

Should have good ITIL and ITSM knowledge
Good understanding of Automation (1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (2.)
