The Career Development Advisor acts as personalized advisor to guide select participants to build skills, network within Client, or understand where a career at Client could take them further down the road. Based on their knowledge on the available learning resources as well as their connections with the career navigators within the Career Center, they play a pivotal role in guiding the participants to the most appropriate resources. They play an important role in the execution of the Career Center strategies. The responsibilities of the CDA includes but in not restricted to, the following: Serves a customer-facing role to address the development needs of employees requesting services. Conducts assessments of MRL colleagues' occupational interests, career aspirations, knowledge, Organizations Company Cost Center Other skills, and abilities to support their development; charts a course for individual development based on assessment insights. Talk to employee about what is visible and what is not in Workday. Challenges MRL colleagues in relation to potential development paths they could take and encourages them to broaden their scope Brokers opportunities (eg, jobs, projects, special assignments) for MRL colleagues by exposing them to other departments and groups outside of their immediate department. Arranges interactions with SMEs or learning modules.

Promotes Participant autonomy in the coaching process. Points the participant to the appropriate learning resources based on the discussion/mentoring session outcomes. Connects the participants to appropriate. Career Navigators and invites to participant to maintain sustained relations with them. Celebrates the Participants progress and successes. Partners with the Participant to close the session


*Please note: We are not looking for trainers* 2-4 years of experience within an HR, Learning and Development, or Coaching department. Effective relationship/interpersonal skills. Effective communicator Including active listening and understanding, being able to provide examples and effective solutions. Organizational development and design experience. Must understand networking Extremely professional, credible. Experience working with individuals in a higher profession. Embodies a Mentoring Mindset Ability to provide feedback in constructive manner. Ability to coach and advise career center participants using internal resources in a virtual environment. Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Counseling/Social Work, or Education. Knowledge of the drug development industry preferred but not required. Home location: North Wales - Upper Gwynedd 2 positions available Fully remote role - Need to be able to accommodate all US Full Time - 40 Work Shift Short term role, ends in January of 2022 ASAP START - Candidates must be available immediately
