Interim Senior IT BA - (SOA, XSD, XML, .NET & SQL) - Remote working - 550 per day inside IR35
Your new company You will be working for a Central Government body, based remotely although some travel to the UK offices may be required (Bootle or London)
Your new role As the Senior IT BA, you will have the following responsibilities:
Management of 3rd party IT hosting and Development teams to ensure delivery to time and quality specified in functional and non-functional requirementsResponsible for eliciting, analysing, validating, and driving the research and gathering of functional and non-functional requirements.Deliver clear, concise and accurate business requirements including acceptance criteria, detailing interactions and working with the developers in the creation, capture and documentation of technical requirementsWorks with stakeholders to develop the business operating model and mapping business objectives against the architecture.Produce and present outputs including Operating models, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, process maps, and wireframes to support conversations with both development teams and stakeholdersTo manage the tracking and delivery of requirements for the life of the project and ensure full traceability of requirements from initial definition to project delivery.Drive best practice processes and support best practice behaviours through the facilitation and delivery of progressive improvements to the team's and suppliers' capabilities, quality processes and deliverables.Identify, monitor and manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigating strategies and escalate as appropriate
What you'll need to succeed
Having worked as a Senior Business Analyst for at least 5 years holding a professional BA certification and has extensive experience in a technical environment.Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problem domain and express complexity in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholdersThe ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business processes and document resultsThe ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across business and technical departments.Extensive data mapping skills and the ability to digest and explain complex data requirementsA detailed understanding of SOA, XSD, XML, DOT NET and SQL environment with complex data setsUnderstanding of ITIL processes and detailed understanding of the software delivery life cycleMust have a track record of managing 3rd party vendors
What you'll get in return This is a 6 month contract based remotely with occasional travel to the Bootle or London office therefore UK based candidates only apply. The contract is for 6 months, and DBS check is required once offered the role. Day rate around 550 per day inside IR35.
