Insight Global is looking for a Telecom Systems Engineer to work a hybrid schedule, on-site with one of our larger healthcare clients in Akron, Ohio. The Telecom Systems Engineer will be responsible for below:
Provides top-level technical expertise in overall telecommunications/contact center design, planning, implementation, and hardware and software maintenance. Provides technical leadership on complex telecommunications/contact center projects and strategic IT decisions. Investigates new telecommunications/contact center technology relating to security, connectivity, and voice/data communications convergence. Investigates and recommends new technologies. Acts as technical project lead for major telecommunications/contact center initiatives. This role will be focused on the clinical access center.
Bachelors Degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
Associate degree + applicable work experience
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification(s) 5+ years experience in a large enterprise environment working directly with voice & data network (wired & wireless) carriers, vendors & overall physical Telecommunications/Contact Center Design & Contact Center Express
5+ years experience in project management/implementation on a variety of small to enterprise class telecom/contact center projects
Unified communications experience with a system such as: Cisco (preferred), Avaya, interactive, etc.
Experience with Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Cisco Webex Contact Center (WCC)
Call Scripting working knowledge (will not need to be able to script from ground up, but to add/edit as needed)
Working knowledge of: telephony, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and/or Common Industrial Protocol (CIP)
