Business Unit Description

Older Adults Technology Services from AARP (OATS) advocates for technology inclusion for the 50+, providing digital literacy training and programming to older adults. OATS, with nearly two decades of experience and insights on how older people interact with technology, uses that knowledge to create world-class programs that form the basis for systems change.

This position exists to coordinate and manage relationships the organization has with external partners. As OATS grows, more entities are leaning on OATS to provide volunteer engagement opportunities for their employees (CSR), which is a large part of this position's current responsibility set. This role will also help program manage existing obligations and provide structure/support to the organization's trainer operations as required.

Relationship Management

-Liaising with corporate partners to determine program logistics and volunteer schedules

-Create opportunities for corporate volunteers to engage in program activities

-Working with key program staff in each of the organization's geographies to plan events, promote engagement and support activities

Program Management

-Coordinating and scheduling volunteers'/interns' shifts

-Working with third-party scheduling tools to upload events and align resources

-Helping to design programs that align with the organization's mission and priorities

-Implementing new and existing programs across all content throughout the organization's geographies

Data Management

-Using Qualtrics, Salesforce and other CRM/Engagement software to manage program deliverables

-Managing large data sets with a focus on data hygiene

-Filtering and cleaning data for distribution


-Assist with new initiatives in other areas including, but not limited to, member recruitment, program planning, curriculum development, training management, and event planning

BA required

1+ years program management or volunteer management experience

Salesforce and Qualtrics experience required

Bilingual in Spanish a plus
