Desktop, Support, 1st Line, 2nd Line, Support analyst
We are currently looking for a Support Analyst to join our client based in Central London on an initial 6 Month Contract.
This role will require you to work through an Umbrella Solution. Shift Work: Participate in shift rota, providing cover between 07:00 and 19:00 - Monday to Friday.
As the Support Analyst you will be joining a large financial client where you will be working on the trading floor, provide a mixture of BAU and project support,
The coresystems infrastructure comprises Lenovo/HP/Dell workstations andHP/Cisco Blade Server technology running Windows OS, EMC,SANs, Avaya and IPC telephony systems and Cisco Networks.
- Workstation hardware and software build - Maintain automated build for workstations and servers - Administration, configuration and support of workstation and server infrastructure. - To have a very good knowledge of infrastructure and to beable to support and enhance that infrastructure through the use of industry standard management tools. - Administration, configuration and support of desktop operations. - Maintain high availability production environment. - Administration and support of the workstation and printer - Ensure that the workstation and printer environment are fully operational and ready for use 24/7 - Ensure incidents and service requests reported via the ticketing system are updated with sufficient narrative to ensure a complete audit trail of an incidents life-cycle.
