we are looking for a Manager with a proven record of accomplishment to join our Global Customer Supports Infrastructure team. In this role, youll be managing the Global Customer Support Infrastructure on which the customer issues are recreated and thus helping our support team do their job more efficiently and effectively. - Thriving in a fast-paced support environment, youll work with our support team and help solve their complex technical problems, related to Informatica s flagship products like Power Center, Data Quality and its peripheries like various databases along with different Operating Systems etc.

Our Ideal Candidate

Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
Constructively work together as a team, sharing ideas and resources.
A high degree of analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience of Linux, Solaris and AIX Administration experience
Ensure 100 PERCENTsystem availability.
Experience maintaining Hadoop Clusters
Must have experience with RMAN, cloning databases, backup and recovery,
Must be good at troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Must have experience in implementing authentication tools like NIS and LDAP.
Strong virtualization experience on Solaris Container/Zones/LDoms and VMWare ESX/ESXi platforms.
Experience in install, upgrade and patching.
Experience in performance tuning.
Good hands on any scripting language like Perl, Shell, Python and PHP is a must.
Knowledge on any automation tool like Chef, puppet will be added advantage.
Ability to communicate technical contents and vendor management.

Your Responsibilities
As an integral part of the Global Customer Support Infrastructure team, you will
Managing IT team responsible for installing the OS, upgrades and patching activities.
Technical documentation.
Working daily System side requests via workload system.
Risk identification and documentation.
Be available on call. .
Disaster recovery planning and implementation.

Your Qualifications

BE, BTech, MCA degree or equivalent technical experience
10-15 years of experience in the software industry supporting and managing Oracle databases.
Excellent grasp of OS, Networking and practice.
Any OS certification is desirable. Working knowledge of other Unix flavors will be an added advantage.
Min 10 to 15 Years.
