About this role:

This role is focused on keeping a global fleet of Mobile and Mac endpoints operating securely and optimally to support the business functions of Gartner. You will be part of a team offering innovative solutions to the business and staying on top of endpoint technology.

What youll do.

Partner with Engineers in US to Support and troubleshoot a global fleet of corporate and personal iOS, Android and MacOS devices
Administer mobile/mac devices with an MDM/UEM platform (ex: Workspace ONE, Intune) across a global footprint. Test, configure and implement iOS, Android, MacOS apps, profiles and policies
Manage Apple devices with Apple Business Manager (formerly DEP, VPP)
Utilize ECP, carrier support and other tools to effectively troubleshoot mobile related issue.

Leverage UEM/MDM to drive business solutions across Business units at Gartner
Maintain test plans, and architecture diagrams around the Mobile/Mac space
Develop and maintain metrics/reports using various tools (PowerBI, Splunk)
Mitigate security threats/vulnerabilities in collaboration with Security team for Mac/Mobile.
Stay abreast of platform/MDM best practices
Work with the team to coach Gartners internal Help Desk via email communications, videos, virtual training sessions, and the creation/maintenance of knowledgebase articles and support documentation.
Work within ITIL Change Management process to shepherd planned changes
Participate with and maintain vendor relationships
Evaluate new technologies and hardware related to Mac/Mobile space for use in the corporate environment
Maintain MDM/UEM platform with IDPs like Okta, Ping, etc.
Work with Mobile TEM, Cass, and Gartner Support Regional managers on escalations related to Mobile device and line orders.
Resolve accounting and port issues with mobile carriers, in partnership with Cass and US team.
Look for process improvements that could better the offerings we currently have for mobility.
Provide guidance to business units on mobile procurement issues as needed.

What youll Need

Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
High school Diploma/GED with equivalent experience required
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) a plus
VMware Certified ProfessionalDigital Workspace a plus
Legacy AirWatch accreditations or other MDM specific certifications (Jamf, etc.) a plus
2years of experience working with VMWare Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune or other UEM products.
2years of experience with MacOS, iOS and Android devices in a corporate environment
Experience with Mobile TEM platforms and provisioning of mobile phone lines and devices
Exposure to packaging custom XML/.plists for device configuration on MacOS
Exposure to deploying MacOS scripts using various shells/languages (ex: Bash, Zsh, Powershell, python)
Exposure to Packaging MacOS software with command line using tools like pkgbuild, productbuild
Experience using web services such as REST APIs for integration and automation
Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS, etc.) a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
Must be able to read and understand technical documentation
Passionate about Apple and Android technologies with a desire to be engaged with the space as it evolves
Functional knowledge of Exchange and O365 environments
Working knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, firewall, VPN clients
Familiarity with Agile methodology (scrum) and Jira
Must be able to multi-task, change direction, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Dependable and available to work early or late to meet deadlines when required
Must be able to positively contribute to a team environment and collaborate with cross functional teams
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
