Developers, Data Science, and Product teams trust the company to power their products, fuel predictive modeling, conduct analysis, drive revenue, and more. We work with highly technical teams as their engineering-focused data partner.

As our first dedicated channel hire, the Head of Partnerships will join our Revenue team with a keen focus on owning current partnership relationships while unlocking new strategic opportunities for PDL and our partners. This includes working with businesses in the early stage of strategy development with a focus on partnerships, developing and piloting new commercial models and partnership ecosystems, and expanding on existing strategic partnerships all in support of PDL priorities and strategies. Current partnerships include ADX (AWS Data Exchange), Snowflake, IBM, Dun & Bradstreet, and Demyst, among others.

The Opportunity:

Be the first hire focused on helping to build our channel program.Help identify, evaluate and prioritize focus areas for the team to pursue.Help craft and execute thoughtful business and partnership strategies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company and with external partners as you develop and execute on partnership strategies.In particular, you will partner closely with your Product counterpart who will be a key resource in your go-to-market strategy and success.

What Success Looks Like:

Focus on emerging company strategies and products related to expanding our B2B offerings.Develop frameworks and conduct analyses to evaluate and prioritize initiatives for the team to pursue.Develop and test hypotheses for business and partnership strategies.Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Legal, Marketing, and Finance teams.Refine strategies and execute initial partnerships, including exploring partnership models and conducting negotiation.

About You:

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting, channel partnerships, or a comparable role in high growth Tech companies.Experience working with hybrid delivery models including APIs and flat files. You 'll be working with our product team to expand the ways our customers can tap into our data.Deep business development acumen, with a background in DaaS preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders through your analysis and strategic vision. Comfortable with ambiguity, willing to roll up your sleeves and figure things out.Extremely well-organized, quick-learner, self-directed, highly energetic, professional, and flexible. Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment. Sense of humor.Your persistence is unparalleled. A creative, assertive problem-solver, you are curious, prepared, team-oriented and a self-starter.Ability to not only balance, but effectively manage competing priorities, and multiple projects/deals at the same time.Understand and articulate technical concepts and translate them into industry or business relevant terms with ease.
