Description
The primary goal of each TAM-E is to ensure that customers can successfully use Fortify on Demand services and that they renew their Fortify on Demand contracts. The TAM-E is responsible for ensuring that customers understand static and dynamic vulnerabilities, and help customers integrate their environments with the Fortify on Demand service.


The TAM-E job is driven by the individual requests of the Fortify on Demand customer. The daily activities of a TAM-E should be easily categorized within the following outline of responsibilities:

Ensure customers are successful using the Fortify on Demand portal.
Conduct vulnerability reviews with customers
Respond to activity in FoD Help Center channels
Submit bug reports to the various internal development teams for portal and tool issues
Troubleshooting translation issues, build server integrations, and VPN connection issues


Experience:

2 years customer-facing experience
Experience in Application Security or DevOps is strongly preferred.
Experience with Fortify WebInspect and/or Fortify Static Code Analyzer preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:

Customer focused service or sales experience preferred.
A comfortable understanding of multiple web-related technologies is required. It is not expected that you will be familiar with all of these examples, but it is expected you will be knowledgeable in several of them or similar topics.

Examples include networking fundamentals, web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache), .NET, Java, DNS, APIs (web services, REST services), encrypted communication (e.g., TLS, SSL), fundamentals of web architecture, and the use of tools for troubleshooting such as Fiddler or WireShark.

Knowledge of the technical aspects of IT security across the broad spectrum of software and hardware devices.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, platforms, and understand how these affect customers.
A working knowledge of application security vulnerabilities is strongly preferred.
