Senior Software Engineer - Coscreen

Location Menlo Park, United States
Posted 29-September-2021
Our mission is to enable engineering teams to work together better than ever. We are looking for a strong engineer who wants to be part of making a product that transforms how we develop software (more in our launch post on Hacker News ). We are creating a digital collaboration platform that's even better than if you are physically working side by side from each other (if you don't trust us on this, trust Sid from GitLab ).
You will be the newest member of a dynamic, globally distributed team working to build the CoScreen client, and platform. You would work directly with our Product Managers, Designers, and QA, in designing and implementing new product features, as well as improving on old ones. You will be responsible for significant parts of the CoScreen system, including producing quality documentation and unit tests and to scale it to mass-adoption.
What Matters To Us As a Team Building a great product that brings millions of agile teams together to get things done in a natural and seamless way. Being part of a team of highly skilled builders that trust each other's unique abilities and who are enjoying doing hard things in a way that no-one else has done before.Creating a healthy balance between doing the best work of our professional careers while being there for our families & friends in a difficult time.
Below are the skills we would like you to have, by priority. The ability to quickly learn skills, and a self motivated attitude can make up for a lot, so we rate these skills very highly. Proficiency with the particular technologies that are part of our platform will definitely make you a better fit, but we don't expect anyone to realistically be proficient in all of them.
