Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is located in the IBM office in Southbury, CT. We are co-located in the office, but maintain a responsible consideration of health and safety practices - which includes ongoing support for an in-office/remote office balance during these unusual times.

There are no relocation funds for this role so you would need to relocate at your own expense.

As a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you will join a dedicated Security Operations team responsible for monitoring, managing, operating, and continuously improving cybersecurity controls.

Cybersecurity Operation analysts will collaborate with peers and stakeholders across teams to resolve incidents and issues that are raised to the IBM CIO SecOps team. As part of the SecOps team, you will work with cross-functional teams that may include IT teams, Help Desk staff, or Security Engineering teams to identify and successfully resolve incidents.

Policy and process, in addition to technical controls, are also a big part of cybersecurity. Working with other teams to develop the processes, sometimes called playbooks, will be required.

You will be a self-starter with good communication skills, and possess a growth mindset.
