Oracle DBA/Oracle Unix System Administrator

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to 65,000 per annum

Location: Raynes Park (South West London)

Experienced Oracle Database Administrator required to join a growing global company based in London. This role will involve the general maintenance, patching and tuning of Oracle Databases and associated application environments

The successful candidate will have knowledge of SQL tuning and able to assist our developers as and when required with best practice and general advice.

The role also includes the maintenance of the Linux Operating System.

This is a great chance join a company who are a leading national business with distributed presence across multiples sites in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Key Skills/Experience

- 3+ Years experience in similar type roles

- Oracle Database 12.1 installation & patching, preferably 12.2/18c/19c.

- Linux Administration (Enterprise Linux 7)

- Strong SQL Experience

- Database security

- Backup, Recovery, Capacity management,

- Shell Scripting

- Tomcat/JVMs
