Linux/Unix Systems administrator required for a well-known organisation in Bristol.

To assist with a project to stabilise and upgrade High Performance Computing clusters. This work is being carried out against a deadline and our client requires additional support to get it done on time in addition to existing workloads.

You will support a team of systems administrators in the Advanced Computing Research Facility in a large project to decommission one supercomputer, help move users and software to other supercomputers, and upgrade and stabilise existing supercomputers.

Skills & experience required:-

Experienced Unix/Linux systems administratorExcellent problem solving abilityCapable of self-initiative & drive, but working with direction and to the team's goalsAnsible experience & abilityNetworking knowledgeKnowledge of storage systems (eg GPFS, CEPH, NFS)

Desirable skills:-

Experience of storage systems (eg GPFS, CEPH, NFS)

HPC experience or knowledge
