CLS Generic Position Summary
As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (eg Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making process.
Specific Job Summary
The Manager, Video Development must possess the ability to create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training, internal company announcement videos and other enterprise-wide projects. From concept to completion, this individual proposes creative concepts, filming styles, brand narratives and deliverables based on business objectives.
Under the direction of the Creative Director, this position collaborates with all areas of the business, identifying creative solutions to deliver on business strategies. This role is responsible for participating in meetings with partners to determine their video needs. This includes but is not limited to proposing concepts, working with script writers, storyboard creation, conducting interviews, filming and editing as well as managing external editors, vendors and producers on a project-by-project basis to help deliver highly creative and engaging video content across all channels.

Education Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field or work experience equivalent ExperienceMinimum 5 years content development and creative concepting experience within a creative environmentMinimum of 8-10 years of video editing and shooting experience in a professional environment.Extensive knowledge of visual, audio, and special effects within Adobe software programs.Proven work experience as a video editor, with demonstratable video editing ability and a strong portfolio of editing narrative formats to bring scripts to life.Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (eg Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).
