Through our partnership with the National Institutes of Health, Kelly Government Solutions offers administrative, IT, engineering, scientific, and healthcare professionals the opportunity to work with the leading medical research center in the world. We are seeking an individual to work as a Data Analyst (Dashboarding & Analytics) at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:
(1) Support data analysis and visualization projects (including administrative data) connected with program and policy evaluations and grants portfolio analyses in the Division of Data Integration, Modeling, and Analytics (DIMA) at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)
(2) Employ analytic techniques to various programmatic analyses including descriptive statistics, logistic regression, survival analysis, cluster analysis, and network analysis
(3) Develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards to share results of analyses with NIGMS staff
(4) Communicate with Institute staff to understand analytic business needs and identify methods to deliver needed analytic products
(5) Identify, collect, evaluate, and appropriately modify relevant administrative and outcome data or data elements to perform analytic studies
(6) Provide technical assistance to NIGMS staff in the use, interpretation, and communication of complex analyses
(7) Create computer programs and workflows to perform analyses and adequately document results to enable sharing with DIMA, NIGMS, and other NIH staff
(8) Develop novel methodologies and metrics for assessing NIGMS grants, training, diversity, and workforce development portfolios
(9) Use advanced data analysis techniques to characterize the outcomes of grants programs against other comparable groups of awards or applications

REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
(1) Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, or related field with an emphasis on analytics; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a data intensive field preferred
(2) Documented extensive familiarity and experience in data analysis, visualization, and dashboarding
(3) Experience with the use of Power BI, R, R Markdown, Tableau, Oracle, and/or Python
