Position Responsibilities:

* Provides data support to the Project Management Office and management team with respect to Labor and Productivity Management, Supply Chain, Revenue and Growth, Medical Management, and other initiatives as required.
* Work to streamline and automate existing recurring reports that are in MS Access by migrating queries to SQL and reports to Business Intelligence software such as Tableau.
* Develop, maintain, and manage frequent updates to multiple databases, spreadsheets, reports to support the functions of the project management office and its goals.
* Build a thorough understanding of all available data sources and understands variances between these sources. Generate concise and accurate trends, reports, presentations for display and dissemination as required from above data sources.
* Design, develop, test and implement management reports using report development tools
* Independently manages the retrieval and analysis of data on multiple tasks or projects, to timely project completion.
* Show a thorough and creative approach to problem diagnosis and troubleshooting.
* Documents progress, resolution and time spent on all activities in the appropriate tracking system.
* Coordinates the scheduling, delivery, testing and implementation steps associated with database enhancements, fixes, and/or customizations for assigned areas.
* Provide users with application assistance and consultation within assigned product area of expertise.
* Accurately defines the desired results of new systems/processes or improvements to existing system/processes.
* Ensures effective integration of new or modified system/processes into the work environment.
* Holds regular meetings with departmental personnel to discuss project plans, timelines, issues and status of systems/projects.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar
* A minimum of 3 years' experience with:
* Report writing in SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Access, and Tableau
* Experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas)
* Relational database architecture

* Experience with migrating databases/queries from MS Access to SQL Server
* Continuously challenges the status quo and provides out of the box solutions to improve existing department processes
* Is very detail oriented and can independently identify discrepancies between two different reports and work to resolve the issue
* Has a knack for solving complex data problems
* Can handle working on multiple projects simultaneously
* Has developed multiple MS Access databases using all DB objects: Tables, Forms, Queries, Reports, Macros
* Has a continuous learning mindset
