This position reports to the Director of Knowledge Management (KM) for the College of Medicine (COM), and works directly with all departments and offices of the College of Medicine as required. Collaboration is most specifically expected with the other units of Planning and Knowledge Management (PKM) and the units of Information Technology (COMIT) The main responsibility would be the oversight of data collection and the systems needed to collect and clean data for reporting. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Participates in the design, development and/or selection of data-related systems, processes, and approaches for units and projects in the College of Medicine. Participates in the design, development, and maintenance of the COM Knowledge Management system and operations, including the COM KM applications, specifically including the college data collection tools. Works with the KM, PKM, COMIT, and other COM personnel on the data collection, analysis, and integration needs of the college, including direct assistance to other PKM and COM units upon appropriate request. Ensure project requirements properly capture and convey the needs of the users and follow the guidelines and standards of COM and the University. Works with KM and other units on the recommendation, selection, design, development, and maintenance of data reporting, analysis, and integration tools and techniques for use with COMs educational, assessment, and decision-support data systems, taking into account COM and University policies and procedures. Completes projects according to schedule, KM, and IT policies, and appropriate best practices. Advises and guides stakeholders to recommend solution, makes informed decisions, and plan for implementation and integration of systems needed to complete projects. Promotes the COM KM vision through publication, participation in professional journals and conferences, and grant proposals. Other duties as assigned, to include, but not limited to, required university and COM trainings such as: FERPA, HIPAA, Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct. Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent customer service and interactive skills. High level of accuracy and organizational skills. Preferred experience working with database systems in an academic environment, performing data analysis and reporting in an academic environment, and working directly with the end-users of data analyses and report in an academic environment.
