Line of Business Role Description

Reporting specialist for Global Trade Operations. Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of simple to complex reporting requests from various business partners across the organization., validating/maintaining existing report inventory, as well as providing project support.

Functions may include:
Collaborating with end users to ensure data is presented in easy to understand format
Actively monitoring existing reporting to ensure accuracy
Asking pertinent questions to gather relevant facts surrounding a problem, issue, or objective; weighing the relative importance, adequacy, and validity of information to form fact-based opinions, solve problems and make sound recommendations
Communicating effectively (both written and oral) with colleagues and leadership using clear, concise, and understandable language
Maintaining robust documentation for the methodology of analyses conducted, their outcome, and information gathered through supplemental conversations

Required Skills:

Highly proficient with MS Office suite: Advanced knowledge of MS Access and Excel (advanced formulas and pivot tables)Experience in data management, specifically with validating and integrating data and reports from multiple systemsStrong orientation toward global collaboration/partnershipStrong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environmentsDetail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skillExcellent communication skillsStrong analytical skills with a focus on finding practical solutionsAbility to work independently and remotely from manager/colleagues
