Organization Overview
The Pricing Strategy team is a key part of Wholesale Credit and Global Banking and is responsible for developing and managing a unified pricing strategy framework across all lines of business including: Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and the Global Corporate and Investment Bank. The Pricing team is directly aligned in the Analytics and Information Strategy organization given a key pillar of the pricing framework is to analyze commercial loan spread trends on existing portfolios and front book pipeline transactions while considering the relationship revenue from ancillary non-credit products. The pricing strategy team uses these analytics coupled with market trading levels on secondary debt instruments to advise and partner with line of business leadership on where to set pricing guidance to effectively deliver commercial loan balance targets while ensuring the bank is being compensated appropriately for the risk and cost of lending.
Job Overview
The Pricing Associate will report directly to the Head of Pricing Strategy Wholesale Credit. This individual will be responsible for using data to construct influential analytics building awareness of pricing trends that are used to advise deal teams on transaction pricing on drawn and undrawn spreads, capital and relationship returns, non-credit revenue products of similar clients and analyzing macro portfolio loan spread trends weekly for senior leadership. Key stakeholders include senior leadership across Global Banking Coverage, Wholesale Credit, Debt Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Finance, and Corporate Treasury.

Core Responsibilities include: Use structured data to provide analytics for executive leadership around Global Banking pricing trends Deliver weekly Global Banking portfolio spread and funded balance trend analysis to senior leadership across Global Banking, Wholesale Credit, Corporate Treasury, Finance, and Debt Capital Markets Monitor front book (ie pipeline) pricing and deal activity in the pricing tool to be able to understand in flight deal volume attributes by Industry, Line of Business, and Geography Work with leaders on the pricing strategy team and technology partners to strategize how to program the virtual assistant in the pricing technology platform, Precision Lender, to be able to most effectively coach deal teams as the pricing team pushes to be more digital Understands and connects commercial banking analytics across the enterprise Required Skills: Experience with Business Intelligence tools (ie Tableau) and extract/load/transform tools (ie Alteryx) Highly organized, self-starter, creative thinker with strong analytical skills Strong communication/presentation skills - ability to communicate vertically and horizontally within the organization Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Desired Skills: Experience with commercial banking and underwriting credit products Experience with PrecisionLender is a plus Familiarity with regulatory concepts around bank liquidity and capital as well as banking finance Familiarity with non-credit revenue bank products (ie debt capital market services 'DCM' or global transaction services 'GTS') Ability to access, query, and analyze data through writing and executing SQL/PythonJob Band:
