LinuxRecruit has an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to help shape the future of marketing in the Cloud and DevOps recruitment space. Its an internal role, working for us rather than one of our partners.

You'll be amazingly smart, have a deep eye for creativity and want to be part of a team constantly pushing boundaries. Maybe you're being held back by dated corporate guidelines, maybe you've reached a ceiling on growth or maybe your manager is so risk averse it's stifling your ability to create great content and marketing.

This is an opportunity to help define and execute Marketing strategy for an agency constantly pushing boundaries and looking at innovation. A company who genuinely put marketing at the forefront of their recruiting strategy and who has long term strategic relationships with many of the countries leading engineering focused companies.

It's opportunity to collaborate with our industry partners on regular reports and around Diversity, salary and market analysis, Tech content and to also turn our social channels from very average, to tons of character. We're not afraid to take a risk.

This role offers you the opportunity to be very hands on, but also defining and carving our strategic direction; you will be involved in all aspects of marketing, including being responsible for branding, the company website, events and social media.

You're interested, so what will you be doing when you join us?

Own the entire marketing life cycle - from setting initial strategy, to designing campaigns, to analysing ROI.
Drive and convert both new candidate communities and clients to inbound traffic
Work with internal stakeholders to drive internal branding guidelines
Develop strategies across socials, email campaigns, content driven strategies, paid search
Focusing on promoting and developing our brand alongside the events we run to a targeted audience. That means taking full responsibility for; creating, implementing, executing and analysing a fully integrated marketing strategy whilst developing community awareness within the market to add value to all on and offline activity, enabling you to maximise results and achieve ROI.

Running the DevOps exchange is something we need to keep on top of with 15,000 members globally we need to ensure we are sending out regular content and are constantly reaching out to senior figures in our space to contribute to blogs or speak at our conferences. We're also keen to have a fresh pair of eyes on this and are totally open to suggestions or ideas that may improve the way we already do things.

Experience we need:

You've managed and organised events - Our community is our priority & planning ahead is important in ensuring the smooth running of things.

Social media is part of your daily routine, maybe you send timed posts out via HootSuite or something similar - Either way you're a social media wizard! You also know how to measure & monitor social media engagement levels whilst driving SEO. But more importantly, you'll love taking risks and standing out from the crowd

Video content is huge - we need someone who is able to think of new content to post regularly - whether it's our people in the hot-seat or a guest speaker you've managed to get in-front of the camera.

You will have managed a website & will be comfortable with posting the occasional blog, contributing to our e-books and building our brand.

You will take pride in the design and creative work, ensuring everything that goes out the door looks and feels great.
