About the role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join Monax as we define a unique position in the market. You will work with our Product and Engineering teams and our Chief Technical Officer as we build and refine our products. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire system architecture of our stack. You will use your skills to design, build, test, and deliver features. UK wide remote available. European remote available for the right candidate.
Stack Overview:
Your core skills matter more than specific knowledge. Currently we use: Typescript (front end and API), Go, Solidity, OpenZeppelin, Postgres, Hyperledger Burrow, React, Kubernetes, Helm.
Responsibilities: Maintain and instill high standards for code quality, application performance, and stability Collaborate with our product team to create and implement robust, data-driven UIs Build from the ground up, with a focus on speed, usability and scalability Work with refine our current product and deliver new products and ensure success for our customers both internal and external Maintain and improve existing codebase to ensure it is scalable in a high-growth environment You'll have a high level of autonomy within the projects you work on. Both to define the stories themselves and to come up with creative solutions. You will support and challenge the rest of the team to improve the quality of our software and design
Requirements:
3 years or more as a hands-on contributor in an engineering-led organization JS Front End development is essential React experience strongly preferred Experience with Ethereum is strongly preferred (Solidity, Web3) The ability to switch regularly between informal written design documents, discussion, and coding in a tight iterative loop is essential Strong CS fundamentals, knowledge of software architecture design, and best practices BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience Can lead and take ownership of projects and see them to completion
