Get to know the roleMarketing Coordinator is a key role in the MY marketing team, responsible for administrative duties centering around raising purchase requests and invoice processing, tracking and reporting on marketing budgets and spends as well as a liaison between the team with finance, payables, financial planning & analysis, and procurement to help manage any new processes or requirements to ensure smooth day to day operations.
Job scope & day-to-day activities
Administration, coordination and tracking (70%)
The successful candidate will learn and master the processes required to handle the following day to day administrative duties. The candidate will need to ensure that the marketing team follows the required processes in and support them by handling the following:
Raising EPR Purchase requisition requests
PO issuance
Payment processes
Monthly accrual
Bonus skills - proficient with Oracle, MS Excel/ Google sheets.
Planning, analysis and support (30%)
The candidate will also need to support budgeting/ forecast planning by compiling and reporting on marketing spends and flag cases of over/ under spending to help ensure that the marketing teams are managing their budgets efficiently.
The candidate will assist the team to clarify and navigate Grab finance and procurement processes and procedures to ensure that no breaches in processes or guidelines occur. This will involve helping the team with advance planning, reminders, and advising the team to keep us all on track.
The Successful Applicant
Experienced administration or finance executive: Preferred 2 years but fresh grads are also welcome to apply
Process oriented: Ability to learn new processes quickly and network with marketing, procurement and finance teams to better help navigate and ensure that the team is compliant with requirements
Eye for detail: Able to manage numbers, data and processes and identify irregularities and notify/ advise key stakeholders
Great collaborator: Someone who works well with a wide group of stakeholders and open to idea experimentation. Innovative and contributive - loves to be part of the creative process, brainstorming and challenging the norm. Able to navigate complexities, influence and persuade approval to get things moving.
Highly organized, detailed and meticulous: Enjoys improving processes to achieve day-to-day efficiency. Thrives in an ultrafast-paced tech/digitally-inclined environment. Quite the perfectionist.
Self-driven and highly motivated: Passionate about being consumer centric and thrive in a dynamic environment.
