Responsibilities Provide leadership, support, and management to multiple software engineering teams, and oversee technology delivery for multiple scrum teams; accountable for software delivery Be a key ServiceNow SME in order to provide solutions and best practices for engineering team delivery of capability partner roadmaps Accountable for seeing that engineering team delivers on business capability commitments Serve as a leader in agile software delivery and DevOps engineering culture practices; work with engineering leads, delivery leads, and product team to ensure agile delivery and DevOps best practices are established and followed on the program (e.g. test automation, 2-week agile release cycle Drive innovation, automation, and quality across all technology delivery teams Ensure IT operations best practices are established, including (but not limited to) site reliability engineering practices, proactive monitoring, incident management rotation, CI/CD, and release compliance automation Understand and apply strategic priorities across both business and technology Partner with business and capability/product team to make product decisions and prioritize roadmap Collaborate across technology and business teams on key strategic integrations and deliverables. This will include collaborating effectively in a cross-functional team of engineers, tech leads, architects, product owners, and quality assurance team. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience IT leadership experience 7+ years of professional IT experience 3+ years of ServiceNow engineering experience 1+ years experience as a lead software engineer, delivery lead, technical delivery manager, or combination of any 1+ year of production operational support Agile delivery experience Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and process; design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, and code review Experience working directly with business and technology leaders Solid oral and written communication and presentation skills
