Lead Software Development Engineer

San Jose CA-Currently Remote

Must needed skills: DevOps with good scripting skills or JAVA backend with devops knowledge

Job Description:What youll DoAble to extract, transform, and load large amounts of data from our cloud providers and from other Adobe systems into our data warehouse platform Can model, report and present data to technical and non-technical teams Improve our existing processes and capabilities through automation Participate in and/or leading meetings to align with internal customer plans Building tools to improve our teams efficiency Write software that automates manual processes Document process workflows, database schema descriptions, etc. Participate in two-week sprints, track work in our Jira ticketing system and develop within our CI/CD pipelineWhat you need to succeedProficiency with programming languages and/or scripting frameworks such as PHP (preferred), JavaScript, or Python Track record of effectively working with databases, including database design, querying, loading and performance optimization. Amazon Redshift and/or PostgreSQL strongly preferred Ability to write code, build tools, and automate processes Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment and participate in bi-weekly team sprints Self-starter, not requiring micro-management, and an appetite to make an impact Superior communication (verbal and written) skills Demonstrate you can produce effective, innovative, solutions on a large scale Superior analytical and problem-solving skills Effectively with staff, peers, and others inside and outside the organization to accomplish goals, objectives and to identify and resolve problems A true, can-do, attitude with the will and focus to inspire change and innovation in the face of the unknown or past challenges Strongly prefer knowledge around RESTful APIs, experience with large-scale computing environments, Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure experience, and Docker experience Proficiency with Linux is required
