Job Title: Financial Engineer
Job Description:
1) Programming in SQL and SAS or Python or R2) Strong experience in Financial Modeling
3) Experience with Large Complex Data Sets
4) Microsoft Office Word PowerPoint Excel, Acess
5) Experience with Secondary Mortgage
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math or other applicable quantitative or technical field Prior experience working in modeling, financial knowledge, understanding of business as well as existing internal econometric models a plus Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages; SQL and SAS OR Python or R Familiar with the Agile SDLC methodology and JIRA Strong quantitative and analytical skills Able to work in a deadline-driven, project-based environment, where the schedule can be unpredictable High attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality work Team player willingness to contribute to all tasks needed to accomplish team goals Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly, and to take on a broad range of analytical tasks Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills Strong interest in technology Desire to work in a fast-paced demanding environment Ability to work independently and within a team
