Process Overview*

GIS Cyber Security Defense (CSD) Access Management teams goal is to provide access services (provision and de-provision) for enterprise platforms (Mainframe/Midrange platform and Windows platform).

The primary team functions include provisioning and de-provisioning based on fully approved Access Request Management (ARM) tickets, support and escalation functions based on IT Service Management (ITSM) tickets.


Manage Access lifecycle on various platforms

Frontend to achieve all the reporting metrics as per Line of Business and stakeholders.

Create conducive environment to identify and escalate risk

Collaborates with risk partners on critical information security priorities

Acts as a point of contact to the LOB during information security incidents

Manage Turnaround Time and Service Level Adherence for deliverables

Complete governance around the events/ incidents raised in the control

Manage training portfolio for team to ensure efficient delivery to BAU activities.

People management for large team spread across regions to ensure support availability as per regional support window.

Assists in the review, development, testing and implementation of security plans, projects and control techniques as and when required.


Access Management Sr. Manager shall be responsible for leading team working on administering user ID access (Platform/Application access) and protecting information residing on Banks domain and platforms. He/ She will facilitate requests with Lines of Business in the Bank to ensure the access requests are performed to meet process SLE.


Leading security analyst team with focus on delivering end to end services on the below

o Incident ManagementBasic platform/application access related issues on Login, Password issues, Access Locked/Disabled.

o Elevated Access Management (Power Broker - UNIX)Power Broker Privileged escalation management tool support. This includes Power Broker roles management and break fix support

o Validating of exceptions as per the Standard operating procedures aligned to the process

Process building/ Re-Engineering skills - Maintains organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies, process improvements & automations.

Risk Management - Review and Monitor the process for risk evaluation and reduction along with audit readiness.

Business value visibility - Deliver value in line with business strategy, and in the areas of operational efficiency, security effectiveness and business enablement

Data Risk based Access Management for pro-active monitoring - The same can be used to streamline and strengthening the access request and provisioning processes

Deployment models and architectures of applications to be managed, including mobile and cloud

Align IAM initiatives to business processes

Monitor controls and regulatory compliance to required standards



BE/BTECH/MCA/MSC (IT) equivalent (Any Technical Degree)

Certifications If Any

CISSP or any ISACA Certification will be preferred

Experience Range*


Foundational skills*

5-6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management domain is preferred

Experience in implementing IAM engagements including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment and application support

Ability to work closely with application developers on automating the Access Management process workflow

Regulatory Compliance Knowledge (SOX, ISO and PCI)

Strong understanding of Identity Access Management architecture, technology and standards

Ability to balance customer service and regulatory needs

Strong Communication, inter-personal, leadership and people management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Excellent team management skills

Individual should have a strong technical background and excellent problem solving skills

Willingness to work in shifts

IT compliance and security certifications (CISSP, CISA or CISM preferred)
